The world of Electronic Dance Music (EDM) moves quickly, and TikTok can make a chorus, bass line, or dance break familiar within days. Tracking down the songs behind popular clips is not always easy, especially when viral TikTok music spans house, dance-pop, hip-hop, electro-pop, and remixes. This guide collects EDM and dance tracks that appeared frequently in TikTok content during 2023, from newer releases to songs that returned through dance challenges, transitions, lip-syncs, and nostalgic edits.
Trending EDM and dance tracks on TikTok in 2023 were characterized by features that made them highly adaptable for short-form video content. Their viral appeal often came from upbeat tempos, memorable hooks, and rhythms suitable for dance challenges, lip-syncs, and creative edits. Klangspot Recordings' guide highlights songs like KoomK ft. Miso's "Lottery," Galantis' "Fire It Up," and Doja Cat's "Say So" as examples frequently used for their rhythmic qualities and ease of choreography. These tracks spanned various genres, from house and dance-pop to electro-pop, catering to diverse TikTok trends.
“Lottery” by KoomK ft. Miso
“Lottery” has an upbeat tempo and a hook suited to short TikTok dance videos. Its rhythm gives creators a simple count to follow, making the choreography work for both group videos and solo routines. It is a fitting choice for fast, playful dance content.
Wanderlust by Paloma Faith
“Wanderlust” combines a danceable beat with lyrics about freedom and self-discovery. The melody leaves room for expressive movement rather than tightly timed choreography, so it suits outfit transitions, travel edits, and more relaxed dance clips.
Fire It Up by Galantis
TikTok dance trends move quickly, and the songs behind them range from current releases to tracks that have been around for years. This list collects EDM, dance-pop, and other popular songs used in TikTok videos during 2023.
Galantis’ “Fire It Up” uses bass drops and a quick pace that suit energetic dance videos. Its production sits closer to festival EDM and club playlists than softer pop, making it suitable for workout clips, nightlife footage, and rapid-cut transitions.
The songs in this list appeared in TikTok dances, lip-syncs, short edits, and challenge videos throughout 2023. Their sounds vary widely: one track may suit a group routine, while another works better for a fashion edit, comedy clip, or transition.
“Say So” by Doja Cat
Doja Cat’s “Say So” appeared in many TikTok dance videos. Its disco-pop beat and memorable chorus make the associated moves easy to follow, including for users learning a routine for the first time. The track remained one of TikTok’s most recognizable dance sounds because its groove works at different speeds.
“Mood” by 24kGoldn ft. ili
“Mood” has a light, catchy rhythm that fits casual dance routines and everyday videos. Its chorus is recognizable within seconds, an advantage on an app built around short clips. Creators used it for solo posts, friend videos, and easygoing lifestyle edits.
“Blueberry Faygo” by Lil Mosey
Lil Mosey’s “Blueberry Faygo” became popular in TikTok videos through its recognizable rhythm and laid-back vocal delivery. Users paired it with dance routines, comedy clips, and transitions. It is not a traditional EDM track, but its beat fits the wider field of TikTok dance music.
Lose Control by Meduza
“Lose Control” became a familiar option for TikTok dance videos after its 2020 release. Its bouncy house beat and repeated vocal hook work well in short clips, while the track also remained common in club and festival sets. For creators looking for viral house music, it is a natural choice.
God Is a Woman by Ariana Grande
Ariana Grande’s “God Is a Woman” appeared in confident, expressive dance videos. Its slower groove gives dancers more room than a rapid EDM track, making it easier to build movement around poses, pauses, and lyrical moments. It also suits beauty and fashion content.
“Savage Remix” by Beyonce, Megan Thee Stallion
“Savage Remix” combines Megan Thee Stallion’s rap with Beyonce’s guest verse over a beat built for sharp, rhythmic choreography. Its TikTok appeal came largely from its recognizable dance challenge. The song gives dancers clear moments to hit without elaborate staging.
“Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd
The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” remained a popular TikTok dance song in 2023. Its 1980s-inspired synth beat and singable chorus kept it in rotation years after release. The familiar arm-movement routine gave the track another life on social video, especially in family and group clips.
Say So by Doja Cat
Doja Cat’s “Say So” has been part of TikTok’s dance culture since 2020. Its smooth R&B and disco-pop feel suits dance montages, whether a routine is polished or deliberately casual. The lighter tone offers a contrast to tracks built around hard drops and aggressive percussion.
Roses by SAINt JHN
SAINt JHN’s “Roses” has a steady pulse for dance-floor clips and short choreography. Remix culture gave creators several versions of the song, each with a different level of energy. That flexibility helped it appear in slow-motion edits as well as party videos.
“Dance Monkey” by Tones and I
“Dance Monkey” is one of TikTok’s most recognizable songs. Its bouncy melody and unusual vocal style made it a frequent choice for dance videos, playful lip-syncs, and humorous posts. Some listeners find the vocal style divisive, but the hook is immediately identifiable.
Savage Love by Jawsh 685 ft. Jason Derulo
“Savage Love” pairs Jawsh 685’s beat with Jason Derulo’s vocals. Its chorus and steady rhythm made it a common soundtrack for TikTok routines, particularly couples and group dances. The simple structure also made it easy to turn a short section into a repeatable challenge.
Lose Control by MEDUZA ft. Becky Hill & Goodboys
MEDUZA’s “Lose Control,” featuring Becky Hill and Goodboys, has a direct house beat and a strong vocal hook. It suits videos that need more pace, and its chorus arrives quickly enough for a short TikTok edit. It remains one of the better-known dance music tracks in this selection.
Roses (Imanbek Remix) by SAINt JHN
The Imanbek Remix of “Roses” helped bring SAINt JHN’s song to a wider TikTok audience. Its lean electronic beat became a frequent soundtrack for transitions, dance clips, and edits. The remix has a darker, more driving feel than the original, giving creators a more electronic alternative.
These songs were among the dance-oriented tracks that continued to circulate on TikTok in 2023. Some are EDM, while others come from pop, hip-hop, and R&B. That mix makes trending TikTok songs less predictable than a standard electronic music playlist.
“ROCKSTAR” by DaBaby ft. Roddy Ricch
“ROCKSTAR” is a hip-hop track rather than an EDM song, but it appeared in TikTok dance challenges and other short videos. DaBaby’s clipped rap delivery and the beat’s slow bounce gave creators a clear rhythm for movement, comedy timing, and lyric-based edits. A viral dance sound does not need a four-on-the-floor beat.
Fireflies by Owl City
Owl City’s electro-pop song “Fireflies” gained attention on TikTok through lip-syncs, nostalgic edits, and dance clips. Its light melody sets it apart from the heavier tracks on this list. For users leaning into early-2010s nostalgia, the song offers a softer, dreamier mood while retaining a recognizable electronic pulse.
What You Know Bout Love by Pop Smoke
Pop Smoke’s “What You Know Bout Love” found an audience on TikTok through its chorus and rhythmic production. Producers and users made remixes that gave the track different roles in dance videos. It works especially well for smooth transitions and low-key choreography rather than fast, highly rehearsed routines.
Savage Love by Jawsh 685, Jason Derulo & BTS
The BTS remix of “Savage Love” brought another version of the song to TikTok. Its familiar chorus and upbeat production made it easy to adapt for group dance clips, fan edits, and collaborative routines. Different versions of the same song can extend a trend when creators want a fresh sound without leaving the original choreography behind.
Add the tracks that suit your taste, whether you need music for a quick dance routine, a transition, a party clip, or a casual video with friends. A TikTok playlist benefits from contrast: house tracks, pop hooks, and songs with enough character to carry a brief clip.
“Toosie Slide” by Drake
Drake’s “Toosie Slide” was one of the popular TikTok dances of 2023. The song came with straightforward dance instructions, which helped thousands of users learn and recreate the moves. Its beat and repeated lyrics make the routine easy to remember, even for people who do not usually post dance content.
Juice by Lizzo
Lizzo’s “Juice” became a regular TikTok soundtrack because of its upbeat groove and confident lyrics. It works for dance clips, outfit videos, and posts that need extra energy. The chorus gives even a simple walk, pose, or reveal a more deliberate rhythm.
Say So by Doja Cat
Doja Cat’s “Say So” was widely used on TikTok for its catchy chorus and familiar choreography. The beat supports a slower routine or a quicker, more animated one, depending on the edit. Its continued use shows how long a strong pop hook can remain part of TikTok dance culture.
These are some of the popular TikTok EDM songs and dance tracks used in 2023. Drake, Lizzo, Doja Cat, Galantis, and MEDUZA brought very different sounds to the app’s dance trends, from house music drops to disco-pop choruses and rap-driven challenges.
“Tap In” by Saweetie
Saweetie’s “Tap In” became a popular TikTok dance track in 2023. Its hook and beat gave users a clear foundation for their own choreography, and it appeared in videos with solo and group routines. The track’s confident, clipped rhythm suits dance challenges where attitude matters as much as technical moves.
