Lowis Freeman's "Rockstar" is an electro house track released on Music Advisor Recordings, part of the Klangspot Recordings family, designed as a dancefloor anthem for late and peak-hour DJ sets. The track features hard drums, distorted synths, and a fast-moving arrangement that builds intensity and keeps energy moving forward. It leans into the physical side of club music, providing a steady 4/4 beat and controlled low end for loud club systems. "Rockstar" aims to create a shared, ritualistic experience on the dancefloor, connecting strangers through its unapologetic rush.
A crowded club can change in seconds. Conversation fades, the room tightens, and everyone waits for the next track to land. In that moment, a DJ needs enough force to hold the floor. Lowis Freeman brings that energy to “Rockstar”.

Lowis Freeman – Rockstar
Released on Music Advisor Recordings, part of the Klangspot Recordings family, “Rockstar” is a direct electro house track for late sets. Hard drums, distorted synths, and a fast-moving arrangement give DJs material to raise the intensity, while listeners get a charged track for the hours before a night out.
“Rockstar” leans into the physical side of club music: pressure, repetition, tension, and release. It suits the point in a set when subtlety gives way to momentum.
Driving electro house for the club
Electronic music moves in cycles. Club programming often makes room for melodic and atmospheric sounds, where mood and detail lead the way. There is also a place for tracks that hit harder and keep the energy moving forward.
“Rockstar” belongs to that strain of electro house. Its rhythm stays physical, the synths carry abrasion, and the bassline remains firmly in the foreground. This is music built for a loud system rather than a quiet lounge.
Compared with the rolling groove of deep house, electro house often relies on a firmer kick pattern and sharper sound design. The drums need to cut through a busy room, while distorted synth layers add edge without swallowing the mix. Freeman uses those elements directly here. The track arrives with intent and keeps its pace.
How does 'Rockstar' create a shared moment on the dancefloor?
The label describes “Rockstar” as a tune that “makes your time on the dance floor a ritual.” The wording is dramatic, but it points to something familiar in clubs: a room full of strangers moving to the same pulse.
A steady 4/4 beat can narrow the focus. Loud music, repetition, and low-end pressure make it easier to leave the day outside the venue behind. The arrangement leaves little empty space, and that is part of its appeal. It keeps dancers connected to the rhythm.
The breaks build tension before the drop returns the full beat. It is a standard club device because it works. For a few seconds, the crowd reacts together, and the track delivers a simple, unapologetic rush. It does not need to be more complicated than that.
Lowis Freeman’s approach to “Rockstar”
Lowis Freeman does not stay within one narrow subgenre. His releases move between different club sounds, and that range comes through in “Rockstar.”
His track “You Know Now” paired tribal rhythms with deep tech-house elements. On “Rockstar,” that experience appears in the percussion and pacing, even as the track moves toward tougher electro sounds. The result is neither nostalgia for old electro house nor a straightforward tech-house record.
The track drives hard without becoming exhausting too quickly. Hi-hats sit cleanly against the kick, the sub-bass has room beneath the mids, and the mix avoids the muddy low end that can make aggressive records tiring on a large system. Those details matter when a DJ plays the track at club volume.
For peak-hour DJ sets
Peak hour, often somewhere between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM, asks more of a track than a warm-up set. The room is fuller, expectations are higher, and a DJ needs to raise the intensity without losing the groove already established. “Rockstar” suits that role.
Its rhythm is easy to read on a dancefloor and can give hesitant dancers a reason to move. The controlled low end should translate well on larger PA systems, where poorly managed bass can quickly become distortion. The intro and outro also give DJs room to beatmatch and move from bouncy tech house into a darker, harder section of a set.
-
The driving rhythm is direct and easy for a crowd to follow, making it useful when a DJ wants to pull more people onto the dancefloor.
-
The mix keeps the low end controlled, which helps the track retain its impact on a large PA system without overwhelming the room.
-
Its clear intro and outro make “Rockstar” practical to beatmatch and use as a transition into a tougher part of a set.
DJs can download “Rockstar” in uncompressed audio formats through Beatport and Traxsource, two stores commonly used for club-focused electronic releases.
Streaming “Rockstar” beyond the club
You do not need a pair of CDJs or a club system to hear the track. “Rockstar” also works outside the venue when you want something louder and less restrained than background music.
It fits a hard workout, a late drive, or the hour before going out. The energy is blunt, and that is the point.
